What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Manager position at International Shoppes?
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and prepare month-end close activities and account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statements.
- Prepare monthly financials and variance analysis for management
- Coordinate/review of monthly bank reconciliations
- Weekly preparation of the cash flow report
- Work with management to develop/maintain/analyze budgets and forecasts
- Work closely with AP, AR, Commissions, and Sales Audit teams
- Assist and support external auditors for annual audit and quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- At least 2 years accounting experience (Retail experience a plus)
- Experience with NetSuite, preferred
- Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Naturally possess the ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
- Ability to work with peers within an organization.
- Have a positive and professional attitude and are reliable.
- Must be proficient in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
- Have a high level of initiative and self-motivation
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
