What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dentist Iraq position at International SOS Government Medical Services?
International SOS is seeking a licensed Dentist to provide services for DOS DOD and contractor personnel stationed in Iraq. The candidate will assess diagnose and treat a variety of dental conditions. The licensed Dentist will educate patients about oral hygiene preventive care and overall dental health. The Dentist will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of care while meeting compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions diseases and injuries.
- Perform dental procedures.
- Provide services or temporary treatment for emergency dental care such as recementing crowns extractions or root canals.
- Develop and discuss treatment plans with patients considering their individual needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Keep accurate and detailed patient records.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists assistants and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care.
- Stay current with new dental techniques and advancements in the field.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the practice.
- Participate in community outreach and promotional activities to foster oral health awareness.

Applicants must have a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from a school approved by the American Dental Association (ADA) or the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
