This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below :
International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to care for VA members and their families. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides basic medical care under the supervision of registered nurses and doctors assisting with patient tasks such as monitoring vital signs administering medications and supporting daily living activities. The LPN plays a crucial role in ensuring patient comfort and safety in various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record patients vital signs symptoms and medical histories.
- Assist with patient hygiene and activities of daily living including bathing dressing and feeding.
- Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Perform wound care and assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records and documentation.
- Respond to patient calls and concerns in a timely manner.
- Assist in emergency situations and provide first aid as needed.
- Participate in training and continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and / or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
Compensation Min : $34hr Max : $49hr
