Job Description
This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below:
International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Psychologist to treat VA members and their families. The Psychologist studies mental health processes and behavior, providing therapy, conducting research, and offering insights to help individuals improve their emotional well-being and address psychological challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving mental wellness.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose psychological conditions.
- Provide individual, group, or family therapy sessions tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation.
- Stay current with psychological research and best practices to enhance service delivery.
- Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
- Engage in research activities to contribute to the field of psychology.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Education Required:
- Major or equivalent in psychology.
- A doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) is typically required for clinical practice, along with a state license.
Physical Requirements:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
- May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.
Other Special Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
- Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
Compensation| Min: $82hr Max: $118hr
Benefits – Full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
