About the Role

We are looking for a two full time Drug and Alcohol Collections Technician for our Occupational Health Clinic in Fairbanks, Alaska. This role is Monday to Friday 8 am until 5 pm.

The primary functions of this position include field and clinic drug and alcohol specimen collections on a daily basis. Incumbent is responsible for performing collections utilizing a variety of methodologies to include urine, saliva, hair and breath collections in conjunction with calibrating and maintaining testing devices in accordance with all applicable regulations, laws, statutes and policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3 years drug and alcohol collections experience (preferred)

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for providing clinic collections support for Beacon clients. This includes performing urine drug screen collections, oral fluids drug collections, rapid result drug tests, and breath alcohol tests.
• Perform general administrative tasks delegated by the Lead Tech and/or Clinical Services Director.
• Assigned to carry and answer the after hours phone on a weekly rotation as scheduled to perform after hours collections.
• Responsible for post-positive calibration of breath alcohol machines.

Contingencies

Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), physical exam, background

check, and motor vehicle report.
