Technical Director

International Sound Corporation is currently seeking a local Technical Director for the production and recording of a live television broadcast show for a Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse Racetrack located in Bossier City, Louisiana. The candidate should have the ability to operate a Ross Carbonite video production switcher. Prior experience is required for this position and will include giving direction to video and camera operators. The candidate must be available to work all 116 racing performances and have reliable transportation. The position is a part time and seasonal with a 70 day Thoroughbred racing season conducted from May 3rd through September 25th. A 46 day Winter Quarter horse meet is conducted on the first week of January through the end of March.

All Sunday's, Monday's, and Tuesday's, plus Saturday's May 3rd and 17th.

June

All Sunday's, Monday's, and Tuesday's plus Saturday June 7th.

July

Sunday July 6th

Monday's July 14th, 21st, and 28th

Tuesday July 1st, 15th, 22nd, & 29th

Wednesday July 16th, 23rd, and 30th

Friday July 4th and Saturday July 5th

August

All Monday's, Tuesday's, and Wednesday's, plus Saturday August 30th.

September (Through 9/25)

Daily work hours for the Thoroughbred meet are from 12:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Daily work hours for the Quarter Horse meet are from 10:30 AM until 4:00 PM. The candidate must pass a background check and obtain an occupational license with the Louisiana Racing Commission after they are hired. The position will pay $250.00 each live racing day.
