What are the responsibilities and job description for the Video Operator position at International Sound Corporation?
International Sound Corporation is currently seeking a local Video Control Room Operator for producing and taping a live television broadcast show for a local Harness Racetrack in Nichols, New York. The candidate should have the ability to operate a Character Generator Graphics Computer, a Digital Video Recorder, and a Windows based computer workstation. Prior experience is preferred and training will be offered for this position and will require the ability to take direction from the Technical Director. The position is seasonal with approximately 18 weekly work hours from May 3rd through September 20th. Evening work shifts during the live racing season will be held every Friday and Saturday night from 5:00 PM until 11:00 PM. Additionally, Sunday afternoon racing will be conducted from May 4th through September 20th, plus Monday September 1st with work shifts from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The candidate must be available to work all racing dates and have reliable transportation. Must also obtain an occupational license with the New York Gaming Commission at the racetrack.
