So What's the Job?

We’re looking for a Director, Paid Media Marketing to take ownership of our customer acquisition and demand generation efforts across multiple brands. This role is ideal for a performance-driven marketer with a strong background in paid media and lead generation who has hands-on experience managing campaigns in-house, not just overseeing agencies

As a key leader within our multi-brand marketing organization, you’ll execute and optimize paid media strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve conversion, lead quality, and overall marketing efficiency. You’ll start with a focus on paid media execution and optimization but grow into leading full-funnel demand generation, lead management, and promotional strategy.

This role is both strategic and hands-on—you’ll not only develop the roadmap but also roll up your sleeves to execute and optimize campaigns.

What is ISSA looking for?

Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across search, display, social, and emerging channels.

Build and lead a high-performing in-house paid media team, including hiring, training, and mentoring team members.

Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the team.

Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for team members.

Manage agency relationships as needed.

Manage media budgets, forecasting, and bid strategies to maximize campaign performance and efficiency.

Monitor, report, and analyze key performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, LTV, etc.) and provide actionable insights to optimize spending.

Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates to refine our paid media strategy.

Develop and execute acquisition and demand generation strategies to meet business growth objectives for both lead generation for inside sales teams and self-service e-commerce purchases.

Optimize lead generation funnels across various channels to improve conversion and retention.

Collaborate with sales teams to ensure smooth lead handoff and conversion.

Continuously test and innovate new methods for customer acquisition and engagement.

Own new user promo strategy, ensuring offers drive high-quality acquisition without diminishing long-term value.

Work with creative, data, and product teams to test and refine ad creatives, ad copy, and landing pages for better performance.

Run A / B and multivariate tests to improve campaign efficiency and lead conversion.

Help build and scale growth marketing playbooks to ensure repeatable and sustainable acquisition strategies.

Qualifications :

5 years of experience in growth marketing, paid media, and demand generation across various channels, including Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Connected TV, and other relevant platforms..

Direct, hands-on experience managing paid media campaigns in-house.

Experience building and leading paid media teams.

A strong analytical mindset, able to make data-driven decisions and optimize campaigns for efficiency and scale.

Experience with lead generation funnels, conversion optimization, and sales-marketing collaboration.

Knowledge of attribution models, tracking, and reporting tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, HubSpot, etc.).

Strong ability to manage budgets and forecast performance with a focus on ROI.

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments (DTC, e-learning, SaaS, or subscription-based businesses preferred).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate data into insights and strategies.
