Application Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Application Engineer to join our team, focusing on the textile industry in the southeast region. The successful candidate will engage with our valued clients, providing essential support and expertise in machinery and accessories for weaving, knitting, and finishing sectors. Our offerings include advanced equipment such as weaving creels and feeder stands compatible with rapier, projectile, and air / waterjet machines.

This role is integral to our business unit, emphasizing the electrical and electronics components of our operations. The position involves significant travel, approximately 50-70% of the time, with all travel expenses covered, including the use of a company car. The compensation package includes a base salary with additional profit-sharing opportunities.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

• Proven experience in the textile industry, particularly in the areas of electrical engineering and electronic equipment maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with weaving machinery is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in flexible programming and electrical preventive maintenance.
• Strong understanding of plant process controls and PLC programming.
• Experience in a maintenance department within the textile sector is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics is preferred, although an Associate's degree with relevant experience is acceptable.
