Key Responsibilities
- Respond to internal and auditor inquiries about costing, analyzing pegging, and cost fluctuations.
- Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and reconcile inventory records.
- Improve inventory reporting through detailed analysis of material costs, labor, and overheads.
- Consolidate and report inventory balances by product line, including variance analysis and balance sheet classification.
- Maintain robust internal controls, update documentation, and support audit processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and participate in cross-training initiatives.
- Support project management activities and conduct ad hoc financial analyses.
- Work closely with Procurement and Operations to ensure precise inventory costing and reporting.
