Position Overview : Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team on the 2nd shift at a customer site in the Cromwell / Wallingford, CT area. This position requires a skilled electrician to perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs for commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience working on electrical systems in a fast-paced, industrial environment and will be capable of troubleshooting, wiring, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Electrical Installations and Repairs :
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, circuits, and components in commercial facilities.
Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams to determine system requirements.
Use diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults, and apply solutions to restore functionality.
Adhere to all safety standards and electrical codes while performing tasks.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
Valid electrician's license (required).
Proficient in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
