HVAC Chiller Service Technician Location : Trumbull, CT Industry : HVAC / Refrigeration
Position Overview : Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Chiller Service Technician to join their Service Group based in Trumbull, CT. This role will involve performing maintenance, repairs, modifications, and troubleshooting on various HVAC systems, with a primary focus on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll chillers, both air-cooled and water-cooled, as well as refrigeration equipment, boilers (water / steam), and unitary HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with HVAC systems and chillers, ensuring efficient and reliable operations for clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Chiller Maintenance and Service :
Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating, and scroll chillers.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems, ensuring they are operating efficiently.
Perform maintenance and repairs on unitary HVAC equipment, including cooling units and air handling systems.
Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues in HVAC systems and chillers.
Maintain accurate records of service visits, repairs, and inspections.
Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs, equipment performance, and recommended actions.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an HVAC Chiller Technician or in a similar HVAC service role.
Valid HVAC or Refrigeration Technician license (preferred).
Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
