Labor & Employment Associate Attorney / Junior to Mid-Level
Location : New York, New York
Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join their Employment Practice Group in New York .
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record .
- Bar Admission in New York .
- NJ , PA , or CT Bar admissions are a plus.
- 2-5 years of substantive experience in employment-related litigation and transactional employment work .
- Experience handling wage and hour class actions , discrimination cases , and contract disputes in federal and state court and administrative agencies like the Department of Labor.
- Transactional experience, including drafting employment-related documents (e.g., employment and severance agreements , workplace policies , employee handbooks ) and conducting federal and state employment law research .
- Familiarity with traditional labor law , wage and hour audits , and conducting employment training is desirable.
- Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple assignments , and a high sense of urgency.
