Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chemical Dependency Counselor to join our team. As a Chemical Dependency Counselor, you will provide therapeutic counseling to individuals struggling with chemical dependency using a bio-psychosocial approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group crisis intervention, as well as family clinical interventions.
- Act as a client advocate, mediator, and facilitator.
- Utilize historic and current data to assess patient needs and provide effective counseling.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and have an LSW or LPC degree. Additionally, you should have current licensure by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a LCDC II, III, or LICDC. Higher than CDCA.
