Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer Designer to join our client's dynamic Civil Engineering Department. This role is primarily office-based with occasional field visits and is perfect for a driven professional eager to contribute to exciting projects in land planning, surveying, permitting, and landscape architecture.

Job Duties

The successful candidate will :

• Design and draft civil engineering plans from concept to final, including public and on-site drawings, along with supporting calculations.
• Perform engineering calculations, hydraulic computations, and create worksheets and spreadsheets, including TR-55, TR-20, and HEC-RAS.
• Collaborate with clients and consultants to ensure designs meet specifications and standards.
• Apply best practice design standards to meet jurisdictional and construction code requirements.
• Coordinate with jurisdictional representatives to facilitate project reviews and approvals.
• Manage project milestones, deliverables, and communicate progress with the Project Manager.
• Contribute as part of a larger development team.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Civil Engineering Department Director.
