What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Construction Superintendent position at International Staffing Consultants, Inc.?
Supervises all trades and vendors : with PM schedules trade work in field, and follow up correspondence to provide clear start time, scope, coordination, and duration for high end residential construction projects.
- Maintains quality control on all aspects of construction
- Schedules inspections and maintains electronic logs
- Collects, manages, and issues shop drawings, SKs, and specs
- Manages Punch List
- Confirms % complete with PM on sub billing
- Writes daily field report
- Maintains drawings, produces field Sketches as needed, and SK log in the field
- Maintains permits and permit set
- Takes and manages field photos works with APM for weekly report
- Alerts PM to trade issues and sub scheduling problems (i.e., No shows)
- Sets up a field office
- Orders tools & obtains construction materials for the project
- Maintains job site safety, quality control and standardized construction procedures.
- Organizes project paperwork, inspects adjacent apartments to work site and sets up reference lines and a benchmark.
- Submits weekly time sheets for site crew.
