REP DUTIES
- Recruit and select volunteer host families for incoming August exchange students
- AR works with schools and host families to ensure a smooth transition for the student
- Provide ongoing support services and guidance to both host family and exchange student throughout the school year
- Organize cultural activities and events to enhance the exchange experience
- Educate hosts, schools, community members about the benefits of cultural exchange
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student placements and program activities
- Monitor well-being and progress of exchange students, addressing any issues and or concerns that may arise
- Conduct orientations and training sessions for host families and international students
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working with students, preferably in an educational or international setting
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Proficiency in social media promotions and database management systems, a plus!
- Experience in recruiting, educating, or managing volunteers, an asset
- Knowledge of foreign languages a plus, but not required.
