About the Role:
As an HVAC/Controls Technician, your main responsibility will be to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure their systems are functioning efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, as well as recommending appropriate solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance. Overall, your role will contribute to creating comfortable and safe environments for clients.
You will be required to various locations throughout Texas.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an HVAC/Controls Technician or similar role.
- Valid HVAC technician license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and refrigeration.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Must have clean driving record and must be able to pass drug and background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or technical certification in HVAC or a related field.
- Experience with building automation systems and controls.
- Familiarity with energy management systems and energy efficiency practices.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Experience working with commercial HVAC systems.
- NATE and or Niagra Certification a plus
- Ability to operate and maintain a variety of tools and equipment used in HVAC work.
