What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Scheduler position at International Talent Partnership?
We are seeking an experienced Scheduler to support major transportation and infrastructure projects in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project scheduling, planning, and coordination for highways, rail, transit, bridges, and large-scale infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop & Maintain Schedules – Create, update, and manage detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar software.
Project Coordination – Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders o align schedules with project milestones and contract requirements.
Risk & Delay Analysis – Identify scheduling risks, analyze delays, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
Progress Tracking & Reporting – Monitor project performance, track critical path activities, and provide regular reports to management.
Resource & Cost Planning – Assist in forecasting labor, materials, and budget allocation based on project timelines.
Stakeholder Communication – Present schedule updates, reports, and recommendations to project teams, contractors, and government agencies.
What You Need:
5 years’ experience in scheduling for transportation and infrastructure projects (highways, bridges, rail, transit, airports, or utilities).
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory) and experience with other scheduling tools like MS Project.
Strong understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling, earned value management (EVM), and project controls.
Familiarity with DOT, federal, and local regulations governing infrastructure projects.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
