Position Overview
International Corporation, a leading North American truck manufacturer with great products, a strong market position and best-in-class distribution network, has an exciting new opportunity for an IT Business Analyst to join our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Team at our Advanced Technology Center in Elmendorf, TX just outside of San Antonio.
IT Business Analyst will support the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems in the manufacturing sector. Travel can be up to 50% at any International plants in US, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities
Analyze complex business problems within the manufacturing sector and identify solutions that can be addressed through automated systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, define system specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Support the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity across manufacturing processes.
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful project execution and system integration.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and perform as expected.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for IT systems, addressing any issues that arise in production environments.
Travel up to 50% to Navistar plants in the US, Mexico, Europe, and Asia to support project implementation, training, and collaboration with local teams.
Document processes, procedures, and system changes, maintaining clear and accurate records to support future reference and system audits.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and drive innovation within manufacturing systems.
Assist in developing and delivering training programs to ensure proper system use and adoption among plant personnel.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of experience in product manufacturing
Master’s degree
At least 3 years of experience in product manufacturing
- At least 7 years of experience in product manufacturing
Additional Requirements
Desired Skills
EV battery assembly and vehicle assembly experience highly desired.
MS Project or other project management software
Experience with automated tooling and robotic systems is highly desired
Experience with laser welding systems, electronics assembly systems and battery quality testing a plus.
Experience with truck or automotive assembly is a plus
Detailed analytical skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to understand and organize complex sets of data
Ability to handle multiple tasks and complete work in a timely manner in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
Ability to interact with all levels of management at the local and division levels
Proficient MS Office computer skills
Ability to take an active role and participate on cross functional teams across multiple brands
Proven ability to initiate and support change to the organization
