Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and motivated Product Engineer with leadership experience to join our Body Exteriors team. You'll lead the design and release of innovative exterior front-end components for groundbreaking programs. This is your opportunity to shape the future of Green House Gas (GNG) solutions, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS Levels 2-4), and next-generation automotive technologies. From hoods to grilles and splash protection, your work will play a key role in transforming the automotive landscape.
Responsibilities
Responsible for a team of approximately 8 engineers.
Exercise full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, and other personnel actions.
Help create career development plans for direct reports.
This individual receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals across multiple programs.
Work is primarily accomplished through setting direction, deploying resources and managing others.
Regularly interacts with senior management.
Assist in the development of team’s technology roadmap and strategy
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
At least 12 years of experience in product design / development or new technologies and / or computer science experience
At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
At least 8 years of experience in product design / development or new technologies and / or computer science experience
At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science
At least 5 years of experience in product design / development or new technologies or specialized technologies and / or computer science experience
At least 2 years of experience leading new technologies or specialized technologies
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
Experience in truck and / or automotive design and development process
Experience designing parts for injection molding, reaction injection molding and / or compression molding is a plus
