Position Overview
The Product Integrity Group is seeking an Product Integrity Engineer to join their team!Successful candidates will be responsible for facilitating and supporting Procurement activities on product development programs to ensure business objectives are met.
The Product Integrity Engineer represents Procurement on a cross-functional program team for small programs and supports large programs. This position facilitates overall sourcing, quoting, target cost, tooling and supports part readiness. They will support internal teams for engineering, supplier quality, materials availability and aftermarket contracts.
This is a highly visible, very challenging and rewarding position in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Investigates and reports on accidents, fires and reports of non-performance of products.
- Works with legal counsel and outside experts to prepare technical defenses in warranty and product liability lawsuits and claims.
- Provides deposition and trial testimony as appropriate.
- Provides accurate and thorough technical analysis of causes of accidents, fires and non-performance disputes.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of experience investigating and resolving technical product issues in the field
Master’s degree
At least 3 years of experience investigating and resolving technical product issues in the field
