We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer to join our Digital Solutions Team.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and operationalize the MDM platform which includes building data pipelines to integrate data sources to MDM Platform, tuning matching algorithms and developing APIs to enable master data consumption.
This is a hybrid position based three days per week at our headquarters in Lisle, Illinois.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, storage, and compute components using Azure Services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and review MDM requirements and translate them into technical design documents
Perform data analysis and profiling using Collibra data quality platform to support Data Governance initiatives
Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop detailed design documents that would be leveraged for development
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of data engineering, data quality and / or analytics or statistical analysis experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
Master’s degree
At least 3 years of data engineering, data quality and / or analytics or statistical analysis experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
At least 8 years of data engineering, data quality and / or analytics or statistical analysis experience
At least 1 year of lead experience
Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
Hands-on experience with MDM tools like Informatica (IDMC / IICS), Reltio or Stibo STEP platform
Solid knowledge of data integration patterns, data matching techniques
Strong proficiency in PLSQL, Spark, PySpark, Python and Pandas
Hands-on experience in Azure Data Factory or Informatica Power center and any data quality tool (Informatica or Talend DQ, Trilium or Ataccama)
Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps or Jenkins
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to understand business partner needs and deliver solutions
Intellectual curiosity to understand and answer questions
Intellectual humility to leverage the expertise of others
Exemplary organizational skills with attention to detail & accuracy
