Reports to: President
Location: Based on site in Melville NY some travel to other sites will be required on a periodical basis

Position Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) at IWG will play a pivotal role in building foundational HR processes, policies, and strategies to support the organization’s growth and efficiency. Reporting directly to the President, the HRBP will partner with leadership to design and implement HR structures, manage talent, and drive strategic initiatives that align with the business. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a deep understanding of HR best practices. The HRBP will lead initiatives related to organizational design, performance management, employee development, and process improvement while ensuring legal compliance and promoting a positive organizational culture.
'Key Responsibilities
Organizational Design & Structure
Develop and maintain organizational charts for all departments.
Create And Update Job Descriptions For All Roles.
Establish and implement a framework for salary rates, pay grades, and compensation bands.
Ensure clarity in reporting lines and communication channels within the organization.
Performance Management
Develop an objective-setting process and appraisal cadence.
Implement a comprehensive performance review system to drive engagement and accountability.
Facilitate performance improvement plans and provide support for employee development.
Onboarding & Compliance
Design a streamlined onboarding process for new hires.
Oversee background checks, offer letters, and new hire documentation.
Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Payroll & Benefits
Review and assess the current payroll provider and recommend improvements.
Streamline payroll processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Evaluate and optimize employee benefits plans to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Incentive Programs
Develop and implement short- and long-term incentive plans to drive performance and retention.
Align incentive plans with company goals and employee expectations.
Talent Acquisition & Development
Create a strategic HR talent acquisition plan to attract top talent.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
Lead initiatives for succession planning and career development pathways.
Strategic HR Initiatives
Partner with senior leadership to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Drive change management initiatives to support organizational growth and transformation.
Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and workplace issues.
Promote a culture of engagement, communication, and continuous improvement.
Conduct investigations and provide recommendations for resolutions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or similar HR certification is a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
Proven experience developing and implementing HR processes from scratch.
Experience in performance management, organizational design, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work strategically while executing hands-on tasks.
Proficient in HR software and tools (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
