Responsibilities
- Facilitate new and existing facilities to produce new models of class 5,6,7 and 8 commercial vehicles and busses, as well and modifications and new features added to these vehicles.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on factory automation and control systems and will be referenced by the plants as well as other departments within International
- Create and present reports of technical analysis and deliver executive-level presentations on key project milestones team achievements
- Work with cross functional teams to ensure corporate control systems specifications are followed and effects on existing systems are considered
- Assists in the design of control solutions including both hardware and software
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
- Master’s degree
- At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
- At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 1 year of lead experience
- Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. - Proficiency in PLC programming
- Knowledgeable with HMI, SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols
- Experience with Robotic and vision systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
