What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal position at Internet Brands?
We are looking for a Paralegalt to join our Legal Department in El Segundo. The primary focus will be to support our internal legal team in day-to-day operations of the Company with potential specializations in intellectual property maintenance, legal and regulatory compliance initiatives and general corporate and litigation matters. Tasks will include reviewing, editing, and managing communications, contracts and marketing materials (including coordinating review with other departments such as product, regulatory, and security as necessary) and reviewing and maintaining trademarks and copyrights, corporate policies and procedures, coordinating litigation activities, integration and vendor intake and conducting due diligence as part of M&A.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Legal Team with all aspects of the legal contract review process, including expediting, prioritizing, summarizing, and reviewing contracts with prospects, customers, and vendors, including, without limitation, NDA’s, customer agreements, vendor intake and vendor agreements, business associate agreements, and other agreements that may arise.
- Support the Legal Team with intellectual property maintenance and updating, and drafting of corporate policies and procedures.
- Support the Legal Team with due diligence for potential M&A and other corporate transactions.
- Assist in the review of marketing related materials.
- Assist in the compliance review of new products, services, and features
- Research applicable laws, regulations, codes, and publications.
- Update legal reference books and attend legal webinars.
- Coordinate litigation activities, various audits and special projects.
Experience:
- Typically requires a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification from an ABA Accredited Paralegal program or equivalent; or equivalent work experience.
- Good communication and writing skills.

We expect the base salary for this role to start at $73,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
