What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Analyst position at Internova Travel Group?
Overview
The Business Analyst will be responsible for supporting collaboration with cross-functional & cross-divisional
business and technology teams to determine effective solutions for Internova Travel Group. You will be responsible for Information Security business requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for
small, medium, and large sized information technology projects and programs. In addition, you will coordinate
and facilitate meetings and provide daily fraud and risk management support for incident response activities for matters related to travel fraud and keep the operations teams and travel agent community informed of travel fraud industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key departments such as legal, compliance, audit, PMO, operations and IT managers and directors
- Participate in targeted audits to ensure vendor compliance with legal requirements, information security standards and contractual obligations
- Act as first line support for vendor, fraud and risk management via Salesforce Service Cloud
- Support ongoing Information Security, IT and company objectives and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Maintain management level reporting and tracking of risk, and fraud; reports and dashboards/scorecards with key metrics
- Provide project management and Business Continuity Planning support.
- Document team activities and meetings with minutes and action plans
- Document business requirements, technical requirements, test plans and test cases.
- Document and execute communication plans and system training as needed.
- Conduct regular system training sessions for internal and external clients.
- Demonstrate Knowledge of the travel industry.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of Business Analysis or Project Management experience
- Must be detail oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment with ability to see the big picture and generate / adopt new ideas
- Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and maintain effectiveness when experiencing major change in work tasks or work environment
- Familiarity with the SDLC and various development, sales, support and adoption methodologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- MS Office tools expert
- Self-starter, ability to work independently to research problems and identify solutions
- Bachelor’s degree with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent work related experience
