Overview
The Luxury Travel Consultant will be responsible for providing support to an Independent Advisor with a high-volume leisure business. This individual is expected to assess the client’s needs and provide travel options that meet their expectations.
Responsibilities
- Research and execute client luxury leisure bookings, including hotel and villas, yachts, cruises, dining arrangements, trip proposals, and full-service concierge.
- Investigate different travel destination options, travel prices, and customs.
- Suggest suitable travel options that best suit customer's needs.
- Is knowledgeable about world events and weather that might affect travel plans.
- Ensure that client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries to be visited.
- Independently review client reservations for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details are completed to the client's satisfaction.
- Research and provide solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience.
- Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations and accurately applies this knowledge to all travel arrangements.
- Follow up with clients upon their return, obtain feedback, and offer to assist with future travel plans.
- Understanding and implementing AXUS digital itinerary platform (can be taught as needed).
- Perform additional duties/projects upon request.
Qualifications
- At least three (3) years of experience in the luxury leisure sector of the hospitality industry.
- Minimum of one (1) year of SABRE experience.
- Experience with high end and high demand travelers.
- Ability to function in a fast –paced, demanding environment with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
