What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Rate Audit Specialist position at Internova Travel Group?
Overview
The Operations Support Specialist role will support the Partner Relations Hotel Programs, focusing primarily on GDS Rate Code Audits of the SELECT by Internova and CURATED by Internova programs, as well as other tasks as assigned.
As a vital intermediary for our hotel programs, the position will be responsible for actions and communication that ensure partners meet the obligation of loading agreed rates and amenities to ensure full accessibility for ITG travel advisors.
Responsibilities
Rate Audits
- Fluent in all GDS’s, as it relates to rate loading reviews.
- Review of participating hotels contracted rates and amenities in the GDS on an ongoing basis; especially with the transition to the new rate code
- Work with hotels on issues found in rate audits and confirming updates once completed as well as no rates available as contracted
- Ability to troubleshoot all aspects of rate loading
Customer Service and Communication
- Proactively identify hotels that do not have the correct rates and amenities loaded to the designated hotel program rate codes;
- Serve as a contact for Hotel Partners as it relates to Hotel Program rate codes and other issues
Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of all 4 GDS systems
- An active interest in travel and in the luxury travel industry
- Knowledge of Salesforce required
- Proficient in MS Office applications, and knowledge of all GDS systems
- Experience in the travel industry and/or customer service
- Must possess exceptional communication written and verbal skills
- Ability to oversee and organize multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently
- Goal-oriented, action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined and high attention to detail
