What are the responsibilities and job description for the Utility Helper position at Interoceanic Corporation?
The utility helper is assigned to departments (Operations Z& Maintenance) within the facility based upon workload. Utility Helpers are rotated within departments to department based on the need within the facility.
Cleaning of ducts, chute (rodding out), screens, draft pipes
Cleanup (shoveling) of product spillage as needed
Using pneumatic chipping gun to clean build up in process equipment
Using sledge hammer to clean build up in =chutes, hoppers and piping
Picking up supplies from warehouse
Lifting 5- pounds un assisted
Clean tracks
Assist longshoreman
General plant cleanup
When qualified, operating bobcat or front end loader for cleanup only
