Job Summary:
The AP Analyst is responsible for processing vendor invoices, reconciling vendor statements, managing the AP inbox, and ensuring timely communication with vendors regarding payment statuses. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle a high volume of invoices efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Registration: Accurately input vendor invoices into the AP system, processing an average of 100-200 invoices daily during high season.
- Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile vendor statements to confirm all invoices are received and processed.
- Vendor Communication: Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding payment statuses and resolve any discrepancies.
- New Vendor Setup: Assist in gathering and verifying required information for new vendors to facilitate their setup in the AP system.
- Inbox Management: Monitor and manage the AP inbox, ensuring timely responses and proper organization of vendor communications.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related field preferred.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in AP software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills to interact with vendors and internal teams.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during high-volume periods.
Education & Experience:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with potential for hybrid work, depending on company policy.
- High-volume, deadline-driven environment requiring accuracy and efficiency.
