Spring Valley began on a small family farm in Jackson, WI and has grown into a leading manufacturer of fertilizers and ice melter products. From our locations in Jackson, WI, Fostoria, OH, and recently acquired locations in Greenville, TX, and Longwood, FL, we serve a wide variety of customer markets, including distributors, co-ops, and retailers throughout the United States and internationally.
Spring Valley became a part of the Interoceanic (IOC) family of companies in 2022. Our company continues to grow and expand, which presents many new opportunities. Our Longwood, FL plant is eagerly seeking Logistics Coordinator to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Dispatch and coordinate CDL drivers for timely deliveries to retailers and distribution centers.
- Develop and manage daily delivery schedules, optimizing routes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate with drivers to provide real-time updates and resolve any delivery issues.
- Monitor fleet performance, ensuring compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, driver logs, and transportation costs.
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to align delivery schedules with customer needs.
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipments, delays, and ETAs.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or transportation coordination.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet management best practices is a plus.
