Design and implement a scalable data architecture that supports actuarial modeling, claims processing, policy management, and pension calculations. Develop data integration frameworks for handling complex policyholder, claims, and contribution data across multiple systems. Ensure data architecture aligns with regulatory reporting requirements for pension and insurance entities. Establish a data governance framework to ensure the quality, integrity, and lineage of policyholder and pension fund data. Enforce compliance with HIPAA, NAIC Model Laws, ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act), and SOC 2 for secure handling of sensitive insurance and pension data. Led the modernization of legacy pension & insurance data platforms, migrating from on-premises to cloud-based data lakes, lakehouses, or warehouses (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks). Oversee data integration across core systems such as policy administration, claims processing, CRM, and pension payment systems. Work closely with actuarial teams, finance, underwriting, claims, and pension fund managers to ensure data solutions align with business needs. Partner with engineering, analytics, and IT teams to design and implement efficient ETL/ELT processes for structured & unstructured pension/insurance data.
