Part of the Interparfums group founded in 1982, Interparfums USA develops, manufactures and distributes prestige perfumes and cosmetics as the exclusive worldwide licensee for Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, Donna Karan, DKNY, Graff, GUESS, Hollister, MCM, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo and Ungaro. Through its global distribution network, the Company’s products are sold in over 120 countries.
The Senior Global Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, programs, and campaigns that align with global objectives while considering regional business needs. Reporting to the Global Trade Marketing VP, this role manages a portfolio of brands, ensuring the successful execution of global marketing initiatives that support brand strategy and sales targets.
This position is based in office from Mondays-Thursdays, and remote on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the global brand expert, supporting Regional Trade Marketing teams (Americas, APAC, EMEA) to ideate, create, and supply the needs to deliver localized trade plans and activations, maximizing commercial opportunities.
- Execute annual strategic plans for each brand, guiding budget allocation and success metrics based on commercial strategy, pillar opportunity and distribution maximization
- Lead and develop the Junior Trade Marketing Manager, fostering best practices across the team and department.
- Manage creative and media approvals with the Licensor (Fashion House), ensuring strict adherence to timelines and documentation.
- Oversee creation and updating within the Global Trade Marketing Calendar, identifying planning gaps and opportunities across regions and brands.
- Drive go-to-market strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Global Brand Marketing, Operations, Creative, Visual Merchandising, PR, Packaging, Sales) to ensure smooth and timely execution.
- Review and enhance regional trade marketing plans, ensuring a 360-degree approach incorporating creative, social, PR, media, and retail activations.
- Act as the primary Licensor contact for all commercially relevant topics, providing monthly sales outlooks, strategic insights, and swift issue resolution.
- Lead brand management and go-to-market initiatives across the portfolio, including strategy development, portfolio management, and discontinuation planning.
- Conduct quarterly animation reviews, aligning Regional A&P spend with global brand performance.
- Oversee visual merchandising requests, ensuring creative and production execution aligns with local market nuances.
- Collaborate with Regional Trade Marketing teams to launch new programs tailored to localized opportunities beyond the global rollout.
- Ensure timely availability of product samples for photo shoots, distributor/retailer needs, and presentations.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
- 5 years of Global or Regional Trade Marketing experience, with a proven history of working in the Fragrance or Beauty industry.
