Interpro has been in the IT consulting business since 1993 and our employees work on a range of projects across the country. We have an opportunity for a Database Engineer to be part of a multi-year enterprise data center migration project.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute enterprise database migration projects, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Design and implement cloud-based database solutions using Azure, AWS, and Snowflake.
Optimize database performance for hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data replication and transformation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide database solutions.
Automate database tasks using scripting languages to improve efficiency and reliability.
Key Technical Skills:
Cloud platform expertise (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) for IaaS/PaaS deployments
Database migration and tuning (Oracle 19c, SQL Server 2016/2019, MySQL)
Experience with cloud-native databases (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS)
Data replication and ETL processes (Informatica, InfoSphere DataStage)
Knowledge of IBM Case Foundation/Analyzer and FileNet data structures
Performance optimization for hybrid cloud/on-prem setups
Scripting for database automation (SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL)
