Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Software Solutions Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in software implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and support for both new and existing enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with the Software Project Manager II and other team members to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Software Project Manager II and team members to implement software solutions for new and existing enterprise customers.
• Participate in enhancements and upgrades, ensuring that all changes meet client requirements and quality standards.
• Provide technical support during and after implementations, addressing client inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
• Assist in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and contributing to technical documentation.
• Support the development of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively managing your time and priorities to meet deadlines.
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members, providing knowledge sharing and technical support to foster their professional development.
• Participate in project meetings, providing updates on progress and addressing any technical challenges.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices in software development and project execution.
• Possess a passion for addressing real-world user needs and delivering customer-centric solutions to tackle real-world business problems.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in software engineering and development practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-8 years of experience in software engineering or related roles, preferably in a solutions engineering or implementation capacity.
• Must have hands-on experience with modern web and mobile programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript, JavaScript, React/React Native, Angular, HTML, CSS, and others.
• Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with object-oriented programming languages (Java, C , or C#).
• Experience in web technologies (JSP, XML/XSL, JSON, Spring Framework, and ASP.NET).
• Experience in AWS/OpenShift cloud infrastructure and environments.
• Experience troubleshooting performance issues with relational databases.
• Experience troubleshooting networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, Load-balancing).
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems/Hyper-V and VMware (vCenter, vSphere).
• Linux knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to write small test applications in Java, C#, or C .
• Familiarity with mobile application development for Android, iOS, or Windows.
