What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable Analyst position at Interpublic Group?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for daily cash collections for our clients. Position works closely with various individuals at the agency to resolve discrepancies and payment errors from intercompany partners. Position requires a great deal of intricate research, follow-up and coordination of responses from Agency and intercompany partners. Must maintain the highest level of customer service and deliver on set expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Generate and distribute accounts receivable reports to agency management and financial analysts
- Research and prepare offsets
- Researching payments and applications
- Utilize external reports for analytical purposes
- Assist with audit requests.
- Inter-company inquires and research
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and/or clients
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Ability to work onsite in an office environment with limited remote work alternatives, consistent with applicable law
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Above average Excel experience: Basic formulas and formatting, Xlookup, Vlookup. Macros are helpful but required
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in accounting
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
- Above average written and oral communications skills
- Detail-oriented
