Job Description: Evening Shift Supervisor (Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm)

Position Overview
The Production Supervisor coordinates day-to-day activities of the production and maintenance to ensure all plant operations and equipment are running safely and efficiently, in order to meet the plant’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI). This position requires a continuous desire to improve processes by implementing procedures, initiating Lean Manufacturing activities and building a strong team. It also requires to work closely with sales and logistics to meet customers needs. This position requires and individual with real desire to make a difference in the life of the employees by creating a safe and dynamic work environment where each team member is valued.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Manage production operations (safety, team schedules, production schedules, maintenance downtime required, etc.) to meet plant’s Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Oversee quality standards and overall quality process for all products
- Work with production planner and logistic coordinator to ensure constant supply of raw material, production supplies and carriers
- Responsible for hiring, training coaching and mentoring of each team member
- Utilization of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
- Develop SOP and JSA with the team as needed
- Maintain a high degree of visibility, access and open communication with all team members
- Apply Lean Manufacturing tools and best practices to drive continuous improvement projects
- Prioritize important issues and collaborate with Plant Manager on solutions related to internal workflows, process, product quality and personnel

- Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
- Develop and maintain a team-based culture that strives to achieve daily Safety, Quality, Delivery and Productivity/Costs goals
- Set and monitor Key Performance Indicators to achieve Budget
- Proven background in Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement (Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, 5S, etc.)
- Critical thinking with good troubleshooting skills, using data-driven approach
- Proficient with mechanical operation, manufacturing processes and procedures
- Attention to detail, product quality and safety procedures
- Managerial courage
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Able to multi-task and manage priorities, excellent work ethics and responsibility
- Positive attitude, honest and trustworthy
- Autonomous, logical, self-motivated, takes initiatives, commitment to company values
Education and formal training
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5 years of experience in a Supervisory Role in a manufacturing environment required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA requirements for manufacturing facilities required
- Knowledge and use of SAP (ERP software) preferred
Physical requirements
- Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Able to ascend/descend stairs, ladders frequently
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Valid US Driver's License required
