Positions Available in the following departments on 3rd shift:
Laser - Cutting Machine Operator
Shop - Multi-Cam Operator
Screen Print - Manual Position
Summary of Duties:
- Operate equipment as prescribed
- Create print files or cut files using various software products, as applicable to position
- Identify files needed for a specific task
- Stage materials for machine processing
- Work in computer application to adjust shop drawings or setting as needed, monitor machine for proper operation and perform tool changes, as applicable to position
- Inspect quality of items produced and troubleshoot as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Prioritize and organize work
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Qualification requirements:
Artisan should have a good work history with prior production experience in a manufacturing environment. Artisan must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills, the ability to read and interpret orders, read rulers, communicate with production managers and owners.
Artisan should have basic computer skills enabling them to work in the Windows operating system. Experience with graphic software such as Composer, Vision Expert, FreeHand is helpful.
CNC experience and familiarity with Enroute software a plus!
High School education or GED equivalent
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on occasion
- The artisan is frequently required to use hands and fingers to manipulate items handle, or feel objects or tools
- The employee is regularly required to walk; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Effectively communicate both written and oral
- Steel or composite toe footwear is required for Artisans in the Shop position.
