About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Apartment Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Professional, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to current and prospective residents, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and determine housing needs and preferences.
- Prepare and assist new residents with leasing paperwork, including lease agreements, employment and credit checks.
- Collect security deposits, rent, and other charges associated with resident move-ins.
- Communicate lease and community policies to new and current residents.
- Follow up with leads and prospects who did not lease.
- Ensure apartments are move-in ready by inspecting and adding last-minute touches.
- Develop creative marketing strategies to attract new residents.
- Manage the lease renewal process.
- Respond promptly to calls, emails, and site visits.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Familiarity with leasing software, such as Yardi, Blue Moon, or Onesite (a plus).
