Network Architect
Location : Albany, NY 12229
Duration : 2 years Contract Position
Requirements
- 84 months configuring and troubleshooting LAN Networking equipment in a complex networking environment of at least 1,000 remote endpoints that includes switches, routers / firewalls and VPN devices. This includes troubleshooting issues using protocol analysis tools (i.e. Wireshark) and conducting in-depth analysis on network data captures.
- 84 months Analytical and Technical knowledge of DMVPN, IPSec, OSPF / BGP is required.
- 84 months supporting and troubleshooting 4G / 5G modem technologies. Multi-vendor experience is preferred.
- 84 months experience with Cisco hardware and Cisco IOS software in a complex TCP / IP environment including routing, port forwarding / NAT, VPN management.
- 60 months experience supporting and configuring wireless network equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Ubiquiti, Aruba.
- 60 months experience working with business users to :
- Understand their business requirements and implement technical solutions to meet those requirements
Work as a member of a team that includes both technical and business users
Responsibilities
Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following :
1. Assist with designing and maintaining Client Network architecture for the EHR, Cyber Remediation, and other Client initiatives.
2. Mentor and assist other Network Engineers, both state and consultant, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations.
3. Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM. Escalate critical calls as necessary and join bridge calls to assist in diagnosis.
