Summary :
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) located in Houston, TX your primary focus is on generating new business development and cultivating growth opportunities within existing accounts. This position is required to meet sales quotas, foster positive customer relations, increase company revenue and profitability.
Responsibilities include :
- Support a positive customer experience by proactively managing relationships with customers, serving as the key point of contact, from initial lead outreach to when a purchase is ultimately made, managing projects from start to finish.
- Prospecting and targeting development of new opportunities focused on selling machined parts, sheet, tube, and rod, and industrial plastics machining solutions and services.
- Travel to assigned territories to meet with potential and current customers, negotiating sales contracts and educating clients about new products, updates and features.
- Meet or exceed sales quotas
- Participate in virtual & on-site educational opportunities with the Austin Branch team to study new products & leverage skill growth.
- Demonstrate problem solving skills that ensure positive and proactive interactions
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales. Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
