Summary:
Create machine parts using CNC Mills and/or CNC lathes
Responsibilities include:
- Have a great attitude. A positive attitude and a team mentality is vital to our success
- Setup and run CNC mills, routers, and lathes
- Maintain quality control documents and update setup information
- Maximize programs for better run times, material yields, and scrap rates
- Keep work area clean and tidy
- Accurately read & interpret prints, 3D models, and general work instructions
- Check and measure parts to ensure quality & accuracy
- Help maintain proper levels of tooling while also developing an organizational system for tools
- Work as a team with other employees to help the branch reach its goals
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- CNC experience is required; Hass controller experience is a plus
- Computer skills: Operate personal computer as well as CAD programs such as Master cam.
- Ability to read, interpret, and generate drawings & 3D models
- Communicate effectively with coworkers
- Mathematical skills: Add, subtract, multiply, divide. Ability to compute rate, ratios, & percentage
