Interstate Advanced Materials is looking for a Warehouse Associate to help us grow in our fabrication capacity. This role will require attention to detail and the mindset to measure twice, cut once. Core Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in the delivery area.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment, including shelves, pallet area, & work stations, and optimize space utilization.
- Follow all company safety processes and procedures, consistent use of all safety equipment
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Perform general machine maintenance & upkeep on equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulation
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Performs and supports other duties as assigned by management
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Good basic math skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using measuring tools such as tapes, micrometers, calipers and gauges.
- Knowledge of general shop equipment such as table saw, drill press, chop saw, etc.
- Experience and ability to operate a forklift
- Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling and stooping, walking, standing
- Work environment subject to outdoor temperatures
