Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, inventory control, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role is critical to ensuring efficient warehouse processes, maintaining high standards of safety, and optimizing inventory management systems.
Duties
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
- Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory and streamline processes.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance.
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste using lean principles.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes to identify areas for improvement.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and practices.
- Familiarity with forklift operation and safety protocols is preferred.
- Experience with lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
