Delivery Driver (part-time)

Responsibilities of Delivery Driver:

• Run "Hot Shot" battery deliveries, in company van or F550 truck, efficiently throughout Monroe, Wayne and some areas of Livingston counties
• Load and unload batteries
• Use a hand held computer.
• Interact professionally with customers
• Wear Interstate Batteries provided uniform while maintaining a neat and clean appearance
• Handle payment and charge transactions correctly and core/part returns appropriately
• 2-3 days per week
• Need to be available 8 -3 pm on the days you are scheduled to work
• Approximately 18-20 hrs/week
• NO WEEKENDS

Requirements of Delivery Driver :

The ideal Interstate Batteries Delivery Driver will have the passion to delivery Outrageously Dependable Service to our customers.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
• Ability to read, write and compute basic math
• High School Degree or higher
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills
• Ability to drive and work in varying weather conditions
• Responsible, dependable, honest and great work ethic
• Ability to work independently and also work well with others
• Valid NYS driver’s license and clean DMV driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
