Job Summary
Interstate Batteries Delivery Drivers deliver the best quality and customer service on an incredible range of battery products to independently owned retail shops and national accounts across Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire. Daily driving shifts range from 8 to 10 hours. Drivers are responsible for a set of Routes, with established Customers. Interstate Drivers will strive to serve our Customers with Outrageous Dependability.
Responsibilities
- Deliver batteries and provide service to each dealer on your route in a timely manner.
- Collect and return junk and/or used batteries.
- Load and unload truck.
- Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies.
- Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships.
- Complete documentation on a timely basis.
- Maintain the route by keeping displays clean, managing dealer inventory, and the customer satisfied.
- Invoice all units that fail to last warranty period.
- Rotate batteries to maintain quality product and service standards.
- Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, check or credit cards.
Skills
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and fork lift. CDL not required.
- Must have current, valid state driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift up to 120 pounds.
- Ability to read, write, and do simple math.

Pay: $20.64 - $21.70 per hour
