This rapidly growing company seeks enthusiastic and reliable Floor Technician to work in one of our client's sites. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, able to work independently, yet also be a team player.
Schedule : Monday-Friday 9 : 00pm-5 : 30am
Pay : $ 17 / hour
Job tasks include, but are not limited to :
- Responsible for the overall floor maintenance of hard surface and carpet (dust and wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction & bonneting) of areas that include offices, corridors, lobbies, entrances, stairwells and other public areas.
- Applies stripper to floors (slippery surface) to remove old wax then refinishes floors with new wax product.
- Responsible for satisfactory and timely completion of assigned project area according to schedule.
- Utilize the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
- Use and maintain equipment properly.
- Operate and maintain all equipment correctly and safely
- Observe safety precautions at all times (uses safety signs "wet floor")
- Reports safety hazards as appropriate
- Perform other duties as assigned
