Job Description:
As a Logistics Management Assistant, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports the planning, coordination, and execution of logistics activities to deliver electronic components to our customers worldwide. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and optimizing logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate prices, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand, minimize waste, and optimize storage capacity.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline logistics operations, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain disruptions and ensure continuity of operations.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with two to four years of experience in supply chain or a related field.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as expertise in supply chain management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A valid U.S. driver's license and a reliable vehicle for commuting to work.
