What are the responsibilities and job description for the Packaging and Quality Assurance Associate position at Interstate Connecting Components (ICC)?
ICC is seeking a highly motivated Production Associate to join our team in the VAD production area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing assembly and packaging operations to produce cable connectors and related accessories efficiently and timely.
This role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assemble, mark, kit, and package specified components using detailed instructions, appropriate methods, tools, and fixtures.
Additionally, the Production Associate will be responsible for monitoring process for defects, isolating non-conforming material, and notifying supervisor of "out of specification" conditions promptly. They will also work at different workstations based on production needs or shift from one station to another to reduce fatigue.
We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
